Formula SAE

I spent my first semester of uni at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia. During this time I had the privilege of being a part of an amazing team dedicated to designing, manufacturing, building, and competing a formula SAE race car. Team Swinburne not only gave me the opportunity to expand my self as an engineer but more importantly as a person. I fell in love with the team from my first meeting, and every day that followed I was ecstatic with the fact that I got to come into the shop and learn something new while contributing whatever I could to make the car a success. I focused most of my time on the manufacturing of our chassis and although tedious, enjoyed the hours of sanding required to get the finished product. Without a doubt, my favorite part of the team was it’s members, who never hesitated to take the time and explain something to me and are just amazing people to be around. The excitement of working on Team Swinburne made me want to wake up every morning because I knew the day held new adventure in tackling whatever challenges arose with completing our car!
