STEM Outreach

For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) Tech Challenge Mentor (September 2021 - Present)

I volunteer as mentor of Team 4924: The Red Beard Pandas, comprised of 13 students ages 12 to 18.

Winchester High School Robotics Team Mentor (Fall 2020 - Spring 2021)

The BattleBots team at my hometown Winchester High School has started up again and I am virtually mentored them! At the end of the fall of 2020 I started having weekly meetings with them to teach them SolidWorks Computer Aided Design (CAD) to help design their own robots.

Boston Museum of Science - Tech Studio Volunteer (2012 - 2020)

Engaged 200+ visitors every Sunday morning in hands-on engineering/computer science activities. I started volunteering at the museum in high school and continued all the way through my BS/MS while I was still in Boston. In total I logged over 550 hours between the Cahners Computer Place and Engineering Design Workshop exhibits.
